About NexusCon 

The industry needed a different type of conference, so we built it. NexusCon 2024 was full of sponsor-free content, real-world case studies, and most importantly, our community.

We heard from 109 speakers across 24 different sessions over a span of 3 days. Although nothing beats the in-person real-time learnings from NexusCon, we are excited to release the NexusCon session recordings to our Nexus Pro Community. About the Session

As organizations strive to stay competitive, the ability to harness and interpret vast amounts of data has become a crucial differentiator. Data-driven-decision making (DDDM) enables companies to move beyond intuition and guesswork, allowing them to make informed, strategic decisions based on real-time insights. 

In this session, industry leaders will share their insights and experiences on how data is transforming the way we manage and optimize work environments. This session will contain the following case studies:

• InnerSpace and Sauer Strategy Works on the significance of space utilization in the real estate industry and how utilization data can inform decisions across various organizational functions beyond just occupancy.
• McKesson will discuss enhancing workplace experience by leveraging multifaceted data. Through a pilot initiative with six distinct work zones, McKesson tracked furniture usage, badge data, and meeting room equipment usage to better tailor workspaces to employee needs. This session will provide valuable lessons on the practical application of data-driven strategies to enhance both operational efficiency and employee well-being.
• Salesforce will present on using performance-based approaches to analyze indoor environmental quality (IEQ) in the workplace. Salesforce’s extensive deployment of air quality monitors across their portfolio, particularly in their Chicago building, has enabled them to translate complex IAQ data into actionable insights. This approach has not only earned them the Fitwel Certification System’s “Best in Building Health” Award but also demonstrated how data can be utilized to create a healthier and more productive workplace. 

We’ll break up each case study with world-cafe-style breakout discussions to engage the audience on the need to integrate data, analytics, and insights into office any workplace processes, decisions, and actions.
