0—Website and SSO upgrade coming (very) soon
Before we jump in, an FYI for you. We're doing a system migration that will soon improve your user experience. In a nutshell: One login for our website and chatroom.
The migration will simply require you to reset your password after you get an email asking you to do so. We'll also send a quick screen-share video

1—Newsletter & podcast highlights
As always, we shipped our Tuesday newsletter and Thursday podcast each week. I also kept my commitment to daily LinkedIn instigation (😂) on Monday-Thursday.
My highlights for those of you that are short on time:
- On the pod, I'm obviously biased but have loved the last ~6 weeks of episodes. If I had to prioritize them, check out Google's BOS series prequel episode, a deep dive on sustainable refrigerants, and a very popular overview of how the building automation system supply chain works (and when it doesn't).
- On the blog, I finished the 5 part series on the Vital Roles that enable smarter buildings and turned it into our latest white paper: The 5 Vital Roles.
- The newsletter and podcast now include short-and-sweet messages from sponsors. If you're interested in sponsoring, you can find the info here.
- We announced the Nexus Labs Syndicate's second investment in WattCarbon... You can join in on the fun for as little as $1k per deal.
Last but not least, longtime Pro member Rosy Khalife joined Nexus Labs full-time as COO! Find her on Nexus Connect here.

2—Members-only goodies from December and January

Nexus SME Workshop with NREL's Plug and Process Loads Technology Research Team—The Plug and Process Loads Workshop provided the opportunity to hear from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Plug and Process Loads (PPLs) Technology Research Team about the state of PPL controls and reduction strategies.
---

Nexus SME Workshop with Joy Trinquet—Pro Member and Industry Analyst at Verdantix, Joy Trinquet, was our expert on an Introduction to the IWMS Tech Category.
She walked through use cases for IWMS, which I found very illuminating and free of fluff.
---

Nexus Pro Member Gathering with Charlie Miller—Real Estate Technology Leader, Charlie Miller, provided a deep dive into Brookfield's Digital Masterplanning Program. It was awesome to see under the hood as they develop their smart building strategy that spans asset types.

This is a great piece!
I agree.
