Our Free Help for Building Owners
Hey friends,
Nexus Labs is quickly becoming the go-to place for building owners to learn about and engage with vendors. To support buyers, we’re announcing a new (free) service!
One unfortunate truth holding back the smart buildings industry is that buying technology requires so much work that it could be a full-time job. To fulfill our mission of accelerating the transition to digital and decarbonized buildings, Nexus Labs now offers a complimentary vendor sourcing service to help building owners engage and shortlist vendors without all the extra work and hassle.
We’ve been testing this process over the last few months and it’s really resonating with Buyers and Sellers alike. So much so that we have 7 vendor selections launching soon:
- RTU efficiency and metering
- FDD software
- Behind-the-meter battery storage
- Occupancy counting
- EV charging
- HVAC & Refrigeration efficiency products for retail
- Submetering
Vendors: Filling out our marketplace application ensures we have up-to-date info on your product's capabilities and attributes. We’ll reach out to you if and when a buyer is looking for your category.
Buyers: Our 5-step process minimizes the time required for you to get a shortlist of qualified vendors:
- Interview Buyers on which technology category they need and their requirements
- Create simple vendor request (RFI, RFQ, or RFP) documents, including a pricing exercise
- Engage vendors and give them a response due date
- Create a shortlist for the Buyer based on their requirements
- Share what we learned with future buyers via the Nexus Marketplace (more on that soon)
Step 5 is unique in the industry. It’s time to create transparency in the marketplace.
This is a free service. Reach out to us here if you want help making sense of the vendor swamp.
See you next week,
—James and the Nexus Labs team
