Nexus Pro review: June 2020

July 2, 2020

Hey friends,

This week, I’m taking a break to read, reflect on the future of Nexus, and roam through the mountains of Colorado.

First, as usual, I want to say thank you.

Second, the member gathering was awesome last week. Thanks for bringing your energy and welcoming the new members. And thanks to Dennis Krieger, who gave an excellent presentation on Demystifying Digital Twins. Here’s the recording:

Third, there were 5 members-only posts in June, in case you missed any of them:

  • How BrainBox AI uses reinforcement learning to improve the building automation system
  • State of the art: an open, independent data layer
  • Automated supervisory control: cutting through the hype and building it back up
  • 🎧 #010: Friendly rants volume 1: the true costs
  • A strategic approach to advanced supervisory control

Finally, one of my goals for this quarter is to spread the word about Nexus. I’ll be doing a piece for CABA. I’ll also be doing a webcast with 75F and I’m working with the Building Intelligence Groups (BIG) in the Twin Cities and Chicago.

If you could, please help me out by sharing the welcome page or this email with anyone you think would be a good fit.

Again, thanks for being here. Have a great week.

—James
