After reading APIs all the way down, then digesting those two interesting LinkedIn discussions above, and then writing the above essay on analytics, I couldn’t help but mash all of these concepts up in my mind.
What if instead of something like 60 full-stack analytics companies in our space, there were only a few? And what if instead of those few worrying about all parts of the stack, they simply focused on performing the best of the best analytics? Meaning they let others focus on things like data collection, control, 3D visualization, user engagement, and workflow integration?
What do you think that sort of world would unlock?
